As a graduate student instructor under Prof. Richard Allen during the Fall
semester of 2005 and 2007, I have had the pleasure of introducing a class
of EPS majors and students in other concentrations to the exciting field
of seismology. The course seeks - and, in my experience, succeeds - to clarify the relevance of seismology to everyday lives of students at Cal.
